13-Line Critiques are open for business (again)

Katharine Kerr June 21st, 2006

Dave has reworked the 13-Line critique page into a much clearer and easier to follow format. We are now accepting posts again. Do read the instructions on that page and the guidelines first, of course!

Update from Dave 6/22 @ 10:30 PM: Um, sorry, the e-mail alias isn’t quite working yet. I’ll post here when all’s working.

Update from Kit 6/23 @ 2.20 AM:  Actually, the email is working.  The problem appears to have been the sender’s.  See my comment below, but if anyone wants to send a submission, go ahead.

Katherine, I did send you 13 lines but I wasn’t sure if they actually got through. If they didn’t, could you let me know?

Unclear from the guidelines: do you insist that the short story be in prose?

Cannon in the guidelines should be canon.

Thanks for the catch, Jess. The typo has been corrected.

Larry, verse lines are fine, too.

    Thanks, Jess.

Mai, I’ll check — did you send via the critiques email?

Please, everyone — do NOT send your 13-lines direct to me, as my spam filter is set high. Send them via the email on the opening page of the category.

    Kit

The e-mails just keep bouncing back from that addy FYI

Sorry, still having issues with the e-mail alias. But stay tuned! I’m hoping to get this solved pronto.

I received Makoiyi submission just fine — 3 times, in fact. I think the problem’s on your email’s end, Makoiyi.

I also received one from Douglas Blaine. I have set up pages for each submission, but as yet they are not showing up on the main 13-liner page. Dave will fix that RSN, no doubt.

Well, personally I think the ether fairy was dancing with my sublight paticiples, but….

Sorry. My goodness, I like to make sure of these things, don’t I? Triple submissions no less.
