In case anyone wondered

November 10th, 2006

I’ve been gone because I’ve been ill again.  Will return in full as soon as I catch up on Book 3 and other neglected aspects of Life.

    Feel better, Kit. You’re missed.

Take care of yourself! I was wondering where you’d disappeared to.

Feel better soon, and have fun with the book :).

    Get better soon!!!

I was afraid that was the case.

Please recover, be happy, be well!

    Love, C.

I should clarify — t’s just the usual start-of-winter bronchitis, nothing more sinister. Plus just as I was on the mend a couple days ago, I got bitten by something — must have been a spider, judging from the allergic reaction. The damn thing was probably about to die, as they do in winter, and decided to take someone down with it.

Fortunately, there are meds for all of the above. i still get awfully tired, is all.

Many thanks to every one here . . .

Hi Robert! I really need to get back to

Best wishes for a fast recovery!

What is a good time to reach you by phone???

Ack! Wretched spider, attacking you just as you were getting over everything else.

Anyway, I do hope that you feel better soon.

Robert, never — can’t breathe equals can’t talk. :-) You’ve got my email though, right?

Do we need an area on Deepgenre where authors can natter about personal things like illnesses, without pushing it front and center as “General Announcements” et alia do?

    Good to see you, Kit.

I returned from the book tour on Nov 5 with a horrendous cold, which took me the week to recover from (that, and my mother in law is visiting). Am now percolating again, as it were.

I think it might be nice to have a topic in the sidebar, akin to “Writing Your First Novel,” that is just for personal and general neepishness.

Kit – not yet. I’m going to Philcon this weekend…

    Get better soon.

I’d say “general announcements” is still the best place. It’s where we announce where we’re off to and when we’re back, regardless of the reason.

If it makes you feel no alone, Kit, my back went splah on me again yesterday.

A way of life — any time, for any or no reason. One never knows. Well, that’s how it is. And I’m lucky, coz I’m better today. It could so easily not be the case.

    Love, C.

Kate, Constance, I hope you guys are feeling better!

    I sort of am.

Thanks, everyone, for the good wishes.

I’m feeling much better. Hope you are definitively on the mend!

I think I’m on the mend. Will try to be more in touch. I’ve also been having trouble with email — at least one friend has sent emails that haven’t got through. So if anyone here has written and had no answer, I’m not ignoring you!
