I, too, am a HUGE fan from down under (NZ, now residing in Oz). It is such a shame that your health won’t let you get down under. I have been folllowing this series since I was about 14, and fell in love with Rhodry, Jill, and all of Devverry. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me such a wonderful release from reality. Whenever I read one of your books I get this wonderful feeling when I start to read, your style of writing and imagry feel like a beloved old blanket! I do hope that maybe there is a crusie ship from Perth to America… Or maybe I will just have to go over there one day!
Is it really all over? I felt Rhodry’s pain at the very end, or maybe it was my pain. Don’t want to say anything to spoil it for people who havent read it yet.

I too am an Aussie fan, and have been following the Deverry series for many years. I have just finished reading The Gold Falcon, and can’t wait to get my hands on The Spirit Stone. Like Tamara I am just a little sad that the series is ending. I’m sure I fell in love with Rhodry when I started reading the books back in my teens! It’s a pity that your poor health means that you wont be able to visit Australia. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful series.

I think that you must have a HUGE following in Australia - I’m here too and LOVE your writing. I have been so immersed in the series for so many years that I am sad about it ending though. I have loved knowing that there is more story to look forward to. Thank you for a truly remarkable world and letting us into it.

Ugh, I wish I could make it to SF, but chances of that are slim to zip zilch nada!! At least the new book is coming out, what’s it, May 1 for US? I cant wait :D (I think this time I’ll have to spring for the hardback version instead of borrowing it from a friend!)

Anthea, I’d love to visit Australia and New Zealand both. I’m not so sure my health will allow me to take a plane trip that long. It’s the awful air onboard planes, and my fear of going into fibrillation at 32,000 feet combined . . .

If I ever get rich, I could take a cruise ship, I suppose.
