I think I’m on the mend. Will try to be more in touch. I’ve also been having trouble with email — at least one friend has sent emails that haven’t got through. So if anyone here has written and had no answer, I’m not ignoring you!

I’d say “general announcements” is still the best place. It’s where we announce where we’re off to and when we’re back, regardless of the reason.

Good to see you, Kit.

I returned from the book tour on Nov 5 with a horrendous cold, which took me the week to recover from (that, and my mother in law is visiting). Am now percolating again, as it were.

I think it might be nice to have a topic in the sidebar, akin to “Writing Your First Novel,” that is just for personal and general neepishness.

Do we need an area on Deepgenre where authors can natter about personal things like illnesses, without pushing it front and center as “General Announcements” et alia do?
